Camp Impact is a ministry of Impact Church and therefore share the same vision of immersing the church in the community so others can clearly experience the life changing love of Christ. We also share the same beliefs. Below are our beliefs explained. If you are interested in learning more about Impact Church, feel free to visit us one Sunday at 10:30am or contact the church at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God written down by men under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We also believe that the Bible is the ultimate standard of truth, without error in its original form, and completely sufficient.
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (the Trinity). We believe that each distinct person of the Trinity is fully God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (second person of the Trinity), who was born of a virgin by the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit. We also believe that Christ was both fully man and fully God and was completely without sin. It is through Christ’s death on the cross that mankind has the opportunity to be saved from their sin.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third distinct person of the Trinity. The work of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the active presence of God in the world, especially in the church.
We believe that God created mankind, male and female, for His own glory and in His image. Man became alienated from God by failing to conform to the moral law of God in action, attitude, and nature (sin). Because mankind’s nature is sinful, it is impossible for man to come back into right relationship with God on his/her own.
We believe that the death of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person willingly repents of their sin and places their faith in Christ as Savior and Lord.
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members of the church are those who have been saved by faith in Jesus Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.
